Information About Our Basketball Program

We offer a competitive winter basketball program for those four (4) years old and up.

Official practices will begin in early December.

The first games will be scheduled around the first weekend in January 2011 when the schools are open.

There is a minimum playing time requirement.

In the Pee Wee and Associate divisions, each player will play in each quarter.

For the older divisions, each player will play in each half.
Our league consists of 10 clubs/organizations. Each organization is responsible for their own registrations. Depending upon the club you choose, the cost of registration could differ. For more information about our clubs and their locations, please visit our

For those teams that have formed outside of the AYL who wish to participate, please contact one of the eleven clubs/organizations in which to register. Your team will have to go under one of the ten clubs in order to participate.
Practice & Game Gym Procedures/Rules

ONLY WATER IS PERMITTED IN THE GYMS.

Do not leave the doors propped open under any circumstances.

The custodians will be there to open the door. Someone, from your team, needs to remain at the door to let your other team/family members in.

This is an APS security violation and is also a safety issue.

Please leave gym area in the same condition you found it. Many of these gyms are used for classes and there is not enough time in the morning to reorganize them. Be respectful.

Please keep all players, families in the gym (no wandering in the building).

Please wipe your feet before entering the gym.

Keep children off the stage/furniture at the school.
Please remember that we are guests at the schools. We want to keep the gyms/schools as clean as possible. We need to be respectful and follow school and district rules/policies.
